Waiting in Vain

Early February this year, we got an invitation from the leasing department of Pacific Mall Lucena (Gaisano Mall) to set-up presence in their food plaza.   

We had talks with them and so we finally sent our tenant application together with the other requirements. They told us to wait for two weeks since the main office in Manila has to review it first. Four months and counting, no definite response from them yet.

So two weeks ago, I sent another tenant application but this time, for SM Lucena.

I was accommodated well by the leasing manager and had let me see the available spaces. Upon ocular, however, I had some worries. I deemed the location weak, not to mention the rent’s too steep. Anyhow, the manager told me that if rent’s an issue, they could provide us space somewhere else. But I have to wait. Once again.
